To put this banner on your website, you must do the following:

  1. Download the banner and put it on the desired location on YOUR site or:

  2. Copy and paste the code underneath the banner into the appropriate location on your site.
    The best location for this is usually at the top or bottom of the page. If you put it at the top,
    please copy and paste the code AFTER the first BODY tag in the code. The body tag
    looks like this     <body>  If you have a background, it could also look something like this
    <body background="../images/background.gif" link="#000000" vlink="#808080" alink="#0000FF">
    In any case, place it AFTER that tag.

  3. For all intents and purposes, this should be all you need to do and when you are through,
    you should verify that it's working by pulling the page you put it on up on your browser
    and don't forget to RELOAD or REFRESH the page to make sure you see the most recent
    changes. 

  4. To speed things up and to help the Father out even more,  it would be better to
    DOWNLOAD the banner and upload it to YOUR site. 
    Advantages of doing this are:
    You do not have to wait for the image to load from InternetPadre.com and you don't
    have to take bandwidth from InternetPadre.com

    You should in this case change the LINK inside the <IMG SRC ............... > tag
    to the appropriate link/location on YOUR site.
    Suppose your site is located at http://tripod.com/members/johnsSite/  
    then the image tag should look like this

    WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60 BORDER=0 ALT="InternetPadre.com - Catholicism at your fingertips"></A>
    Of course, you would have to make sure that the link matches the actual location. 
    If you for instance have an image directory and the file is there, you would need to change
    the url/link to reflect this.
     
 
 
This banner (as seen on top of the page) measures 468x60 pixels and is only 10.2 kb in size. 
Filename is banner-internetpadre-com.gif

It is made at the standard size for the web which is 468x60 and at only 10.2 kb in size, it is very
fast loading.
