Up one level Catholic Morality
The purpose of life is to do the will of God. Because 'only one is good, God' (Mk 10:18), all morality, all moral goodness is based on Him; hence, only that is good which corresponds to His holy will. The moral law directs human choice toward choosing God's way of loving and acting with Jesus Christ as the exemplar.
